Union Pier, MI

What It Is

A Somatic Approach for Profound Healing

Integral Breath Therapy (IBT) is a synthesis of techniques from over 20 diverse healing modalities. At its core lies Breathwork, a powerful approach that enables the emergence and healing of issues across the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual dimensions. This training equips you with a comprehensive array of techniques to support yourself and your clients' holistic integration and healing.

This body-centered approach utilizes conscious connected breathing techniques to induce non-ordinary states of consciousness, offering a safe and effective pathway to access and resolve deeply held physical, emotional, and psychological patterns.

Mirroring the transformative potential of altered states explored in psychedelic-assisted therapies, IBT provides a unique avenue for addressing core issues and fostering lasting change, particularly for individuals who prefer non-substance-based methods or are in addiction recovery.

"Improper breathing is a common cause of ill health.
If I had to limit my advice on healthier living to just one tip, it would be simply to
learn how to breathe correctly.
There is no single more powerful -or more simple- daily practice to
further your health and well-being than breathwork.”

Why Explore IBT

Discovering how to use breath as a diagnostic tool is a powerful gift for yourself and your clients!

As humans, our nervous systems often don't fully process stress or danger responses, leaving energetic residues that manifest as physical tension, restricted breathing, unhealthy patterns, and even disease. IBT gently guides the body to complete these cycles, releasing held trauma, memories, and emotions in a safe, supported environment.

This body-mind-oriented training offers significant benefits, with a primary focus on experiential learning. You'll gain a first-hand understanding of the breath's remarkable ability to clear, heal, and integrate past stress and trauma. If you're committed to both personal and professional growth, this training is for you.

What Sets IBT Apart?

IBT is a professional-level training designed for those with a background in healing or therapeutic work who are ready to deepen their practice through the transformative power of breath. Unlike formulaic or one-size-fits-all approaches, IBT is rooted in decades of experience and study across multiple breathwork traditions. It integrates psychological, somatic, and spiritual frameworks to support deep, sustainable healing. This method emphasizes clinical skill, intuitive presence, and personal embodiment, making it a comprehensive and sophisticated training for those seeking to offer breathwork in a truly individualized and impactful way.

Further Understanding IBT

Integral Breath Therapy is a revolutionary approach that harnesses the power of the breath to explore, heal, and integrate the multifaceted dimensions of the human psyche. Drawing upon ancient Eastern wisdom and modern Western methodologies, this holistic modality employs specific breathing techniques to release physical, mental, and emotional blockages. It's a safe yet potent therapeutic tool that works with the whole person to foster healing, integration, and profound transformation.

IBT acts as a bridge between the conscious and unconscious minds, allowing you to move beyond surface-level narratives and repetitive life patterns to uncover core belief systems and their origins. You will learn to utilize this powerful energy therapy to gently induce a natural trance state in your clients, facilitating dynamic awakenings and accessing deeply rooted, unresolved issues.

Its versatility allows for seamless integration into existing clinical practices, educational settings, or coaching formats.

Unlike other methods where you might lead the client, in IBT, you learn to accompany them on their unique healing journey. This seemingly simple energy therapy holds remarkable potential for physical, psychological, and emotional expansion, exploration, release, and healing.

Elevate your current professional practice and unlock new dimensions in client care by integrating IBT's unique somatic modality, offering a powerful and substance-free pathway to deeper healing that addresses the root of their challenges through the power of breath.
