Heather Indu Arena
Holistic Consultant
Senior Yoga Trainer,
E-RYT 500, C-IAYT, ALC, BS
For over 20 years, I have been supporting my students and clients in their quest to live healthy, vital, and fulfilling lives and, in that process, discover who they are. It is a true joy to assist my students and clients in opening and relaxing so that personal transformation unfolds naturally and compassionately.

My utilization of the written word as a therapeutic tool for myself, previous experience owning a yoga studio, current role as a Senior Yoga Trainer, & training facility for an 800-hour certified Yoga Therapy program has allowed me to utilize my skills as a Writer, Yoga Teacher/Trainer, Yoga Therapy Practitioner, Yoga Nidra Facilitator, Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant, Integral Breath Therapist, and Energy Worker to skillfully and compassionately support my students and clients to transform their lives. The knowledge I have gained through my exploration and study has led me to create two unique offerings for my clients: The Triple A's & Metergy©.

It is my love and devotion to being a writer and yoga practitioner, with a connection to the Lakulish Lineage, that enables me to reveal inner wisdom to my clients joyfully and powerfully. It was my time spent living at the Ashram that supported a huge transformation in how I see others, the world, and my life.
I live in southwestern Michigan, where I work individually with clients in person and online who are interested in their own personal transformational journeys. I travel to lead teacher training programs and workshops, and I continue to create powerful programs and publications to maintain a connection with my students and support their continued growth and integration. I can be found across the globe with my blog Words for the Soul, online programs and consultations as well as working as a Senior Yoga Trainer.

The Triple A's
The Triple A’s are a revolutionary way of consciously working through stress, including conflicting thoughts and emotions, in order to view yourself, the world, and others from a perspective of peace and love rather than conflict and fear.
Yoga
Yoga is the science of Liberation.  Liberation from limitations. This ancient science of peace teaches one to see Unity in all things and has an added benefit of balancing the body/mind system.

Meditation & Yoga Nidra
Meditation is an opportunity to be in a peaceful, calm, and harmonious state of awareness. In meditation, the brain shifts in such a way as to activate balancing biochemical shifts. Short-term practice brings an immediate sense of peace. The long-term practice has huge benefits on all levels.

Ayurveda
Ayurveda is the art of living daily in harmony with the laws of nature.  Ayurveda translates as the knowledge of life.  It is a natural and ancient time-tested science that uses this knowledge of life to promote living a healthy, joyful, and balanced life. This balance can be maintained between the physical body (healthy and agile), mind (open and peaceful), heart (joyful), and soul (free).

Metergy©
Metergy© unites meditation & energy with its foundation in ancient Eastern Yogic philosophy.
Through the continued practice of Metergy©, a felt connection to everything beyond mental concepts is revealed allowing you to flow through your life with freedom and ease.

Breathwork
The conscious use of the breath facilitates a shift in physical, mental, and emotional balance. Change the breath, change the body/mind. Breath therapy helps the practitioner release improper breathing patterns, which lead to dis-ease.

Yoga Therapy
Yoga therapy is the process of empowering
individuals to progress toward improved
health and well-being through the application
of the teachings and practices of yoga. I refer to my style as AAA Yoga therapy. The Triple A's utilize ancient yogic wisdom reimagined through the lens of modern-day psychological models to address and integrate dis-ease.
