What to Expect

This online course is an in-depth dive into the practice of Meditation in Motion as a tool of personal transformation, healing and restoration. It includes deep philosophical teachings of Yoga presented in an applicable and relatable way, combined with Yoga experiences which allow these insights to be deeply absorbed.  Included are four, 30-minute live mentoring sessions to help deepen your understanding and answer questions.  ​EXPLORE AT YOUR OWN PACE You can work through this course at your own pace for a total of 90 days.  This gives an opportunity to set your own schedule while helping you maintain consistency with your explorations.   FOR YOGA PRACTITIONERS & TEACHERS Because of its foundation, these teachings and practices are available to any-body. *   This course has been offered to those new to practicing yoga and long-time yoga teachers.  All have reported huge benefits from the program and a transformation in their understanding of the purpose and practice of yoga. YOU CAN LIVE LIFE AS A MEDITATION IN MOTION! We will use lectures designed to increase your understanding of the ancient teachings of yoga, along with practices which reveal a direct experience of your new understanding.  These practices connect you to your inner healer in order to bridge the gap between a struggling mind and a mind open to the power of unconditional love.   Learning to respond to life’s circumstances appropriately instead of reacting fearfully.  WHY MEDITATION IN MOTION? ~Restore balance on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. ~Learn to incorporate meditation and its many benefits into your yoga practice and life. ~Learn how to cultivate and allow your life force energy to restore, recharge and guide you. ~Learn that yoga is more than an on the mat practice. Yoga is a way of living life in harmony with your-Self and the world around you. ~Learn the Kriya of Chita and Prana, what Swami Kripalu called “the highest experience of yoga” which reveals your true Self ~Explore and understand ancient yogic scriptures. ~Practice at home so you reinforce the habit of incorporating yoga and meditation into your every-day life.  Included are 9 progressive yoga practices*. ​ This online course is based on Yoga, or union, but not the yoga we have become accustomed to in the west. It is based on the ancient eastern teachings of yoga with its roots in meditation, energy (Prana) and knowledge.  Learn to connect with your bodies innate intuitive wisdom through the use of specific yogic tools and techniques.  This program is designed to help you relax deeply into your bodily experience which leads to a meditative state.  You will be guided to remain anchored in meditation while in motion engaging in yoga postures and breath techniques.  As you practice you learn to take yoga off the mat with you and effortlessly live your life as a Meditation in Motion following your body's natural intuitive wisdom where you learn to respond to life's circumstances appropriately instead of reacting fearfully.  APPROXIMATE HOURS: •    9.5 hours video classroom lecture •    10.5 hours of yoga practice •    1 hour of written assignments •    2 hours live with your mentor WHEN DO I MEET WITH MY MENTOR IF I CHOOSE THAT OPTION?  You will have four meetings with your mentor.  It is up to you to schedule those meetings.  The course tells you the suggested times to have these meetings, but it is completely up to you! A MESSAGE FROM HEATHER INDU WITH FURTHER DETAILS: Western yoga has become popular but only addresses a small amount of what the ancient Eastern practice of yoga reveals. When you truly recognize who you are, the fear brought forth from limiting beliefs fades and true courage and trust prevails. Heather Indu Arena, E-RYT 500, C-IAYT                             

As a senior yoga trainer for the Lakulish lineage Heather offers a unique and powerful experience of yoga anchored in Eastern philosophy. Living at an ashram offered her a deeper wisdom about the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual uses of yoga to facilitate transformation and balance in life. Clients describe Heather as a joyful and compassionate revealer of yoga. She trains teachers in an 800-hour Yoga Therapy Professional Program. Also an Ayurvedic lifestyle consultant, she works with groups and individual clients in person, remotely, and via online programs to spread the light of yoga in the world.
